  • Great American Ball Park: 6/30-7/4/2008 (48)

    My third ballpark trip to Cincinnati and first to Great American Ball Park was with my friend Scott while we were in town for the NACC. Griffey Jr. didn't start Monday night but entered the game in the top of the 9th as a defensive replacement with the Reds trailing 3-2. He ended the night with a walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the 9th (see Pic 27), his 603rd career HR and 5th career "go-homer"!
     

  • Fenway Park: 8/18/1992 (8)

    I visited Fenway Park while in Boston on my honeymoon. This was also the day Larry Bird announced his retirement from the Boston Celtics. Roger Clemens wore "33" on his cap in tribute (see Pic 8) and pitched a 4-hit shutout. Paid attendance, 33,339.
